About Pee Wees
Pee Wees is the next age division up from Atoms in NSW Ice Hockey. Pee Wees is for children (boys and girls) aged 12 and 13 years as at 31st December each year. The Pee Wees play to non-contact no-slapshot rules.
PeeWee-aged players have the opportunity to tryout for the NSW state team to participate in the Ginsberg National Tournament. State team tryouts are announced on the IHNSW website. This year the Ginsberg will be held in Adelaide on 31st July to 3rd August.

Training
Training will take place on Tuesday evenings from 7:00pm to 8:00pm. The ice will be shared with the Atom and Bantam teams.

First a rap for the officials - clear signals, players warned or penalised for any play that was against the rules or unsafe, and both teams dealt with evenly. This allowed players, coaching staff and both sets of spectators to enjoy a terrific game.

A game that did not start too well for the Cyclones with the Flyers scoring 4 goals in the first period, and Matthew K under siege in goal.

The game started with a good first period by the Cyclones, however the Cyclones defence fell away in the second and third period. The more experienced Eagles players were too often allowed to skate through the centre straight on goal.

An early start Sunday morning and the Cyclones were ready to go. Against a much more experienced team the Cyclone players really stepped up, and again won the second period 2 goals to 1.

A game that was much closer than the score suggests. Again the opposition had one star player, without whom we could have beaten them.
